Valencia Basket opens the second leg of the Liga Endesa by hosting an in-form Hiopos Lleida 

La Liga Endesa returns to the Roig Arena with the game that will open the second leg of the season for Valencia Basket men’s team, as they host a Hiopos Lleida side on an impressive run of results (Sunday the 1st, 5:00 pm, Roig Arena, DAZN) in an ACB Round 18 matchup. 

After starting the week with a hard-fought win over Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv, the taronja team will look to maintain their strong home form in a clash against what has been the league’s best defense throughout the month of January, before facing a very demanding three-game road stretch next week.

This will be the second time we host the burgundy-clad team in Valencia, although history shows that we have always defended our home court against opponents from this city. In the first-round game, Valencia Basket claimed a 78–99 victory with six of our players scoring in double figures. 

Power forward Matt Costello is the only confirmed absence for this game, so head coach Pedro Martínez will have the remaining fourteen players at his disposal. 

Valencia Basket begins the second half of the ACB regular season in second place with a 13–4 record.
